2022 CNY DIY Kit - ILEX

HERE WE WOULD LIKE TO arrange the Ilexes step-by-steP with you!

IN THE DIY KIT, you should find
- a modern chinese ceramic vase,
- 12 stems of ilex,
- 10 ornaments for decoration,
- a pair of floral scissors,
- tape, and
- flower food.

let’s get started!

STEP 1

Put the vase at the spot you would like to have the ILEX arrangement be.

as it will be quite heavy to move after the arrangement is done!

STEP 2

Fill 1/3 to 1/2 of the vase with clean water (around 2L to 3L), then add flower food into the water (1 pack per 1l water).

STEP 3

PUt tapes onto the opening of the vase to create a structure to support the ilexes.
form A ‘#’ on the opening of the vase with the tapes.

STEP 4

arranging the 1st stem of iLex, we start at the right side.
cut the stem diagonally (At least 2cm at the end of the stem), and put it diagonally into the vase.

P.S.
It is normal if there is a small amount of iLex fruits falling off when you open the package and during arranging.

STEP 5

REPEAT STEP 4, on the left side.

STEP 6

REPEAT STEP 4, at the BACK.

STEP 7

REPEAT STEP 4, at the FRONT.

STEP 8

REPEAT STEP 4, ON the right side. but put it in less diagonally towards the centre.

STEP 9

REPEAT STEP 8, ON the left side.

STEP 10

REPEAT STEP 8, At the back.

STEP 11

REPEAT STEP 8, At the FRONT.

STEP 12

PUT the remaining ilexes at the area which you would like the arrangement to be fuller.

STEP 13

Then you can start putting on decorations as you like!

almost no maintenance is needed! no need to change water. (just add some water every 2-3 days) remove those ilex fruits if turning black.

It should be able to last foR 10-15 days.
